Logan's Roadhouse

12/20/2015; My Husband and I visited the restaurant on our way back from Orlando, FL home to N.C and decided to stop and have dinner at approximately 5:45 when we arrived. Waited 3-5 minutes in line to be seated by the hostess which was not at the station. As the line grew, she finally shows up and seats us at the high tops and walks away, not even telling us our waiter/waitress name who then shows and takes our order for appetizers and drinks. eventually, we placed our entrée orders at approximately 6:07 and waited. and waited and waited. About 6:30 she alerts us that the kitchen was out of potatoes but that should not affect our order, 10 minutes later she comes back and says there were staff call-outs and some did not show, about 10 more minutes later she says .."your food will be right out"...followed by and apology, 10 more minutes, no food and our waitress never came back to the table to tell us what was going on back there so my husband just decided we would cancel the entrees and go somewhere else. Suddenly, the food shows at 7:15 and we eat. The manager approaches our table and takes 50% percent off the bill. This review is really NOT a complaint, but an awareness that even though we had to wait extremely long for the food, they were aware of our displeasure and made amends. Things don't always go our way and Staff Call-outs happens, but catering to your customers shows you are placing them first. Great Job Logans staff.

Loved Logan's when we lived in Mississippi so we were very excited to know there was a location close by when we moved here. Gone to this location twice so far and every time it's quite nice. Steak quality is very good, good(but not great) beer selection, strawberry daiquiris are very good and surprisingly child friendly. Our 3yr old loved the cheeseburger and fries. The last time I went my steak did come out over cooked(I ordered rare and it came out medium) but the server had the chef make me a new steak with no charge. Although the first steak was over cooked the few bites I had still had such a lovely flavor, seasoned very well. I'd go back.
