Outback Steakhouse

I have never been a big fan of Outback. Went with family. Had a meal that was not too terrible and not great. Had the steak and shrimp. Steak was overcooked but not so much as to send it back. The shrimp were mostly tasteless. But, I didn't expect much from shrimp from Outback. Salad was enjoyable. Had a very good server. She helped make it a passable experience. Just not crazy about Outback.

My daughter and I stopped in for a late lunch today and I have to say it turned out to be the best dining experience I've had at this Outback location. Our waitress, Jamie, greeted us quickly and got our drinks, bread and an appetizer to us very fast. I ordered the lunch portions of chicken tortilla soup and grilled fish tacos. Our food was delicious! Our blooming onion was a good size (for a short time, they were very small) and we had strawberry lemonade and water for our drinks. Everything was very tasty and we had generous proportions. Jamie was friendly and kept checking on us and refilling our water and clearing plates as needed. She was a great waitress and I appreciated her taking care of us so kindly. I haven't been since this location remodeled. It looks very nice and updated. We will definitely visit again when in Savannah!
