We eat here everytime we visit Savannah..the food is absolutely amazing some good ole home cooking(stew crab, fried shrimp and grits)!!! Its very small, not fancy. The service has always been great every time we have eaten there....yes it is a great place to try out
Coming from Atlanta we don't have fresh seafood so I tried to give this place a shot. Way beyond my expectations and food is amazing. Staff was very welcoming and hard working. I recommend the crab omelet and can't wait to come back and visit.
The wait to be seated was about 15 minutes. It was well worth it. When my food arrived, everything was seasoned already. The hash browns had just a morsel more salt than I desired but overall I know how to request my seasons for the future dine in experiences that will come. Very quaint and small establishment. Overall everyone was exceptional. The Greeter at the door was very attentive. Food was filling as well.
The food was so good. It is a small place but we went early and had no problems getting seating. The staff was friendly and there was an overall friendly atmosphere. We have been to Savannah many times and we are bummed that we just now discovered this hidden gem. We will come back every time we visit.
Wait staff was polite and gave you that Southern hospitality. Making sure you were comfortable and having a great meal. I had the biscuits and gravy and an Arnold Palmer on the side. I'm used to country gravy that has more sauce than sausage. This was the opposite. Huge chunks of savory sausage over buttery and delicious biscuits. Take a hit of the sweet Arnold Palmer? Listen you can't go wrong with that combo. Just a great country kitchen where you can see the kitchen and it feels like you're home. As Orlando visitors thank you for making my friend and I feel welcome and for the banging food.
Funny story: who I think is the owner asked for our order and my friend (male) began ordering. He politely interrupted to let me (a woman) order first. Old school respect which made me love the place even more.
