Great food. A little warm in there and the beer freezer works overtime so grab a cold mug!
Two-meat combo of brisket and pulled pork both came with a melt-in-your mouth consistency to match the flavor. Variety of sauces added another layer. They did not skimp on the sides. Mac and cheese and coleslaw both came in large, sturdy containers...and were delicious!
Best brisket in Savannah! All of Sandfly’s food tastes great! The sweet tea is super sweet and the coconut cake is pretty great! I get the Hog Wild platter and share it and still have left overs! Honestly only ever had the macaroni and fries as sides, next time I want to try the sweet potato fries! Safe to say we never leave hungry! This bbq joint is worth the drive in to town! If there is a line or a crowd, don’t hesitate, tables always are opening up and the food comes out fast!
Sandfly is easily the best BBQ I’ve ever had in Savannah. I haven’t had a thing I haven’t liked, the pork is well cooked, smoky, and delicious. The Mac n Cheese and the collard greens are always delicious. Do yourself a favor though and get some Brunswick stew with your food. I’ve lived in Savannah for a long time and nobody even touches Sandfly when it comes to food BBQ. Prices can be a little high but the food is worth it.
Incredible BBQ. I got a full rack of St.Louis ribs tender , Smokey and love the sauce, just a little kick. Wife had pulled pork, chicken leg and thigh with Brunswick stew. All excellent! It's a small space but fun. You're there to get your pig on! Will be be back.
