The 5 Spot Sandfly

This place is fantastic! The food was amazing, my server Jordyn was so sweet, and the place is so clean! I will absolutely eat here again!

My son has raved about 5 Spot since he went to the mid town location so when I had the chance to try the Sandfly location I jumped on it. We went in before the dinner rush and were seated pretty quickly, we waited for longer than expected for someone to come to the table though. We ordered drinks and apps which came out fresh and hot. I ordered the brussels sprouts and they were good but could have been better. There were a bunch of them that were still whole and with that they weren't cooked through so they were pretty tough. If they would have all been cut to around the same size(roughly of course) that would have been an amazing dish. My friend got the cheese puffs, the flavors were amazing but just wished there were more of them. For my entrée I ordered the "Spicy Jalapeno Burger" that had a red chili next to the name so I was expecting some spice. In the description it said it came with jalapeno pepper jelly, the jelly part was there but I tasted no jalapeno at all. There was no spice anywhere in the burger at all. With that being said the burger was delicious, it came out exactly as I ordered it and the size was ample for anyone. My friend ordered the Chicken Bacon Gouda Wrap and he said it was delicious. The size was perfect for a big eater or you could take half with you for a second meal.
We both enjoyed our meals but both agree that it could have been a touch better. We'll go back next time we're in town for work.

Visited The 5 Spot for lunch today & enjoyed it thoroughly. My Mule was refreshing & delicious. I had the Black & Bleu salad with steak which never disappoints. Shawna our friendly server was fantastic-what a great personality!! My friend had the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries and she was very pleased. This restaurant is very cute with tables spaced far apart. Prices are reasonable and food is yummy!
