Amazing food at very reasonable price for such a prime location. The burrata to start is to die for! Everything our table had was fantastic! Service was extremely pleasant as well. Can't wait to visit Savannah again to go eat here and try more. As most restaurants in this area, they are first come first serve, however, there is a lot to walk around and see while waiting for your text. Just stay close (within 5 or 10 min walk) as the people on the list before you may find other things to do and cancel. We lucked out and got our table in half the time expected.

My best friend, her mother and I were in town for a girls trip. We were staying at an inn about a block away from The Public Kitchen. We decided to stop in for lunch. My friend and I had the pesto linguine pasta with chicken and her mom has a Caesar salad with shrimp. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server Hayden was awesome. He was patient with us as we tried to decided what we wanted to eat( trust me we are an indecisive bunch) and he was prompt. It was such a great experience we decided to go back for dinner. We had the brutta, lobster bisque soup, southwest salad, and Scottish salmon. They did not disappoint! We were so happy we decided to return for dinner, the food was amazing! We had Hayden as our server again. He was much busier, but the service was still exceptional. We will definitely return the next time we visit Savannah!

Food is always fresh, down to every ingredient. The wait staff is made up of wide variety of personalities which makes for an enjoyable experience the more times you come back. I am usually not a fan when restaurants make all their wait staff have the same personality because of "the image" they want to establish.

I consider this place a MUST!!! We sat upstairs on a beautiful night with live music. The service by Jena was flawless start to finish!! We ordered the warm olives to start and followed it up with a Caesar salad, the stuffed chicken and the SHRIMP AND GRITS (all caps are deserved... you have to get this when you dine here!!!)

Mushroom risotto was amazing!! Best I've ever had. My partner got the goat cheese stuffed chicken and cleaned her plate before I was halfway done with mine! Also our first round of mussels had quite a few empty shells but they were kind enough to bring out another dish of mussels for us to replace the first dish. Service was great, our server Alexandra was very nice and attentive. Atmosphere was perfect, not too fancy. Prices were very reasonable, was expecting higher prices for the quality of service and food that we received. This was by far our favorite restaurant in Savannah. We went on a Saturday night at 630 and only had a 20-30 minute wait.
