Vic's On the River

Interesting and delicious food, and very courteous and attentive staff. The building is gorgeous and the views of River Street and the Savannah River will leave you in awe. We had our wedding reception here and everything was perfect! Highly recommend - get the fried green tomato appetizer! It will change your life.

A very nice experience and the cusine was very good. In particular if you can get a view by the window it will be on point. Our servers were very attentive. It was so nice that we had both lunch and dinner here. That kale salad with the white balsamic vinaigrette was on point.

Perfect for our wedding reception!!! Vic's was amazing from start to finish! Communication was amazing especially considering we had never been to Georgia and planned our wedding from Michigan. I couldn't be more happy with the way things turned out. The service was amazing and the lunch went so smoothly without any hiccups. Everyone loved the amazing food that was cooked to PERFECTION and everyone wants to go back for more. The den was perfect for our small party with beautiful views overlooking the river. We already plan on returning to celebrate our anniversary with Vic's. What an amazing experience.

I was ready to consider this place 3.5, 4 stars at best. The service seemed all right at first, the decor good... but nothing special.

UNTIL...

The lobster cake was incredible, the best my wife and I have ever had. The biscuits are like my home made (my dad taught me) and my wife's grandmother's home made. The food was out of this world; they made LIMA beans delicious. And the desserts... peach ice cream that tasted like that of my childhood, and a pecan pie that was delicious. And their coffee... seriously, wow.

This is not counting the waitress. Attentive without overdoing it, pleasant and kind... a wonderful server.

Older kids might enjoy it. Younger might not. But I highly recommend it.

I went to lunch yesterday with family and we had a great time! This is a more fancy restaurant for in the river but the food is delicious.

The waiter was very helpful and attentive. When my wife had questions about the different mixed drinks, he broke them down which helped her pick one.

We’ll definitely be back again to eat the dinner menu!
