Vic's River Grill

This place is modern! Unlike a lot of places in the area, you will see clean, stylish environment - marble bar top, elegant decor, clean bathrooms.
We had mussels, shrimp and grits and cocktails.
Everything was so good that we came here 2 times during our stay.

We just left and can’t wait to return! We love Vic’s on the River and go there whenever we’re visiting Savannah. But this time we accidentally went through the wrong door and ended up here and we’re so glad we did! The food and drinks were phenomenal and the service was outstanding! Our server Caroline was exceptional. She took really good care of us! We will definitely add Vic’s River Grill to our list of must do restaurants!

We had excellent service and a delicious dinner at Vic's River Grill. Well trained and friendly staff made our meal an excellent culinary experience from beginning to end. We enjoyed the fresh oysters, beef carpaccio, and mussels along with a few other tasty dishes. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass to pair with your meal. A special thanks to Don the manager and Samantha our waitress. Vic's was our favorite meal during our long weekend trip.

We had a great experience from the beginning to the end of our meal last night. Our waiter Michael was very attentive. We were pleasantly surprised when there was two musicians playing , they were wonderful as well. But what got me was the warmth from the staff, they genuinely liked their job. The food was amazing. We had the crab cake appetizer. We had two main meals pan seared grouper and red snapper creole style. They were both excellent! You could tell that the chefs were very passionate about cooking. Priced very moderately. You must check this restaurant out. They had a very nice bar area as well.

Vic’s River Grill deserves the reputation of being the best new restaurant in Savannah!! My husband and I had such a wonderful evening dining here, from the warm welcome we received, the elegant ambiance and live music, wonderful attentive service, and exquisitely prepared choices on the menu! We tried the french onion soup, shaved roasted beet salad, the melt in your mouth pan seared grouper, and the chocolate brownie with banana ice cream for dessert. I felt like I died and went to heaven!! It was a delight to meet with the manager after our meal and to thank him personally for an amazing dining experience. We highly recommend this beautiful restaurant and hope to come back when visiting Savannah.
