“Lunchtime was a great time to go, we had a very nice server and it was quiet so we could talk. The menu had a ton of different options, easy to find something new to try. Our food was served quickly and obviously made fresh, it was nice and hot. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. The way the food was served was nice as most of the different items were separate, so you could mix it in as you wanted too. Nice place for a good sit down meal of quality food.”

“Excellent experience! We ate here to celebrate my sons 10th Birthday (per his request). Our cook (June) was awesome! He did an amazing job entertaining and cooking! He kept our table laughing our whole meal. Our waiter (I didn’t catch his name) did awesome as well. He kept our table tidy and removed our dishes as we finished with them. He kept our drinks topped off throughout our meal, which is very important to us as my husband drinks a lot with his meal. They did a great job making my son feel special and all about him the whole time. All of the staff from the time we walked in the door until we left were very friendly and attentive to us! We will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area.”

“My husband and I traveled here from South Dakota and thought we would give The Diner a shot because it was close to the hotel. So glad we did! Even at 1 in the morning this was the friendliest place we've been to since leaving home. Jenna our waitress was amazing! Super chatty and helpful to us, she even put us on her phone with a friend to ask him about some places to visit and eat at while we are here! The seating area and kitchen was clean, tables and counters were cleared and wiped as soon as people finished, condiments readily available in front of us. Classic diner food, everything was hot and fresh. One omelet was slightly underdone and Jenna handled it for us immediately, drinks were never empty, and everyone seemed happy! I would most definitely come back if we swing through here again, it was worth stopping in! Thank you so much Jenna, we were very impressed and touched by your kindness and generosity as it really meant a lot to us so far away from home. Keep up the awesome work, y'all were super great!”

They were also training multiple people it seems, because the wait was long while the hostess struggled to remember her tasks, the servers seemed overloaded, and some of the food had to be recooked and/or came out cold. But! They have no problem fixing your order, our waitress was amazing and very sweet, apologetic even though there wasn't much she could do about the situation and it wasn't her fault. I recommend it if you aren't in a hurry and are capable of treating people like humans instead of robotic slaves who are incapable of messing up. Once we got the food made properly, it was very tasty!”
