AMAZING food. I had the fig wood fired pizza and hubby had the Staten Island. So cool inside with a vintage 50's diner feel and music. Homemade cinnamon caramel ice cream was fantastic. We will absolutely be back. Highly highly recommend.
Saw this place as we were passing through Ball Ground and decided to stop and give it a try. Best decision we have made when it comes to food. We got a 10 inch Hawaiian pizza which was, without a doubt, the best pizza I have ever had. The wood burning oven makes all the difference in the world. Can’t wait to try their ribeyes on the wood-burning stove on Saturdays. New favorite place!
Been coming to Ball Ground for years, our family loved Martin's General Store, when it was a General Store... Now that it's been turned into a fire oven pizza (and other food) truck, this is the new go-to for us! We had the white pizza w/ four cheeses, absolutely excellent!! After the pizza we treated ourselves to the handmade ice cream that they offer in the other truck and it was just the icing on the proverbial cake. Great place, great people and we consider this our new regular place to go when in Ball Ground.
A++++++++++++++!
Great customer service and good people. The atmosphere sends you back in time to the 50s and is very family friendly. Kids have board games and a photo booth to keep them entertained. This is a great place to bring your kid if you want them in an atmosphere with good words, people, and especially music. Also I truly believe that you can never go back to regular pizza after having the wood fired pizza. I think it is amazing how everything they cook is cooked out of the wood fired oven which is just wood, no gas, no propane.
If you want authentic, this is where you go for real wood fired oven pizza. The sauce on the pizza is homemade and you won't find anything like it anywhere else. They have a variety of pizza types beyond the traditional. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. My favorite that I wasn't expecting to love so much is the Fig Pig. Bacon, fig preserves and arugula. Sweet and salty. Also had the rib eye steak and its worth calling in to reserve one.
The homemade ice cream is very good and the cheesecake and cannoli also homemade are the perfect ending to a great dining experience. The owners treat each customer like they are special guests. True hospitality.
