Probably the best lunchtime experience I have ever had the pleasure to have. Every bite tasted better. You can immediately understand why when you find out that all the menu items are made fresh in house. Polite, informative staff was just the icing on the cake...oh the desserts are made fresh in restaurant as well.
The food was fantastic! Loved, loved the bacon jam and biscuits!!!The staff was not as helpful, as they could have been, which is why the drop in stars. We had to ask several times for glasses to be refilled and for an order correction. Overall...delicious!
I will have to say Canton, GA has some hidden gems in their restaurants. Southern comfort food for the soul. You will enjoy the delicious menu selections and pair them with great libation selections. You will love the food, bring some friends and order an array of delights. If you want the downtown Atlanta vibe without the drive come North to Canton and enjoy a Southern home cooked meal with a twist at Queenie’s. Stay for the dessert you’ll be glad you did. I know I was!!
Unique twist on southern food. I had the grilled chicken covered with ham and pimento cheese with sides of smoked sweet corn and redneck lasagna. The hubby had fried chicken with gravy. So good! Also had the ham & pickles appetizer. Very good. Service was great.
Some of the best southern hospitality I've encountered. Our server Sarah was so helpful and fun. We were passing through the area and a friend suggested it, Queenie's is amazing. The chef made magic happen with a mustard sorghum glaze and pork belly with some of the creamiest grits I've ever had. Brett came out and chatted with us for a bit too. It's wonderful when you get to thank the person that made you one of the best meals you've had in a long time. Everything that was pickled was on point. I never knew you could pickle a strawberry either. We also ran into Queenie herself, I love the south. What a friendly gracious woman. Do yourself a favor and make sure you support this local gem. You won't be disappointed.
