Donderos' Kitchen

It is really hard to find an American breakfast that isn't meat and isn't too sweet. Donderos hits the nail on the head with breakfast. I got their French Toast Casserole which seemed like a gamble but it was the perfect amount of sweet. I ate with someone else who got a Grits Boat and that was also very good (and can be prepared vegetarian or with meat). The reviewer who said you serve yourself a cold hipster sandwhich should go to Donderos again and take a look at the menu. If you order anything off the menu you'll get it served to you cafe style (order, get a number, find a table, and someone will bring out your food). Yes you can pour your own coffee and water but I don't see a problem with that in a cafe atmosphere. By the counter where you order there is a cold case of prepared food that you can buy and eat there or take home- that's definitely not the only food they have! There are great vegetarian menu items with vegan options. 100% recommend.

Service is quick and staff is friendly. Has a particular charm, and I always come back when I'm in the area. 10/10

My favorite place to have a quiet meal. The location inside an old house is perfect, and the variety of specials keeps things interesting. Summer mornings on the porch are a nice way to begin the day. Can't go wrong with the breakfast burrito!
