Never disappoints! Great food and friendly staff

This restaurant has been evolving and changing since it first opened about a year ago. It's a new restaurant trying to work out its identity and decide what it is going to be. It's getting better all the time. They have become more service-oriented, doing more to justify their relatively high prices. Six months ago you had to pump out your own coffee from a thermos at breakfast - now they bring it out to you. There has been rapid turnover in the staff, and the results have improved. The service is better now, but little things, like bringing out butter when you order pancakes, have yet to become routine. In time they probably will.

My family had a great breakfast here. The biscuits are good. The eggs are great, both scrambled and over easy perfectly cooked. The potatoes are wonderful, nicely crisped, just a touch of seasoning. My kids loved the bacon and it looked good. My kids also loved the grits and they are pretty critical when it comes to grits. Service was great. We got here about 10:30 on Sunday and were seated right away. By 11 it was packed and people were in que to get a table. We would go back anytime we find ourselves in Athens. Also has great outdoor seating. We enjoyed breakfast surrounded by patio heaters and it was great.

The atmosphere is so different in and out. You can enjoy the patio for lunch with a nice breeze or go in for dinner in the hip interior. The food can only be described as fresh and the cocktails are always on point. Love their options and vibe.
