Hands down, best pizza in my life, even compared to other more expensive or famous places out-of-state. The MVP is exquisite. I’ve ordered multiple times and every single time I take the first bite of pizza I get chills from the flavor, softness, chewiness, and crispiness of the ingredients that work so well together. Sauces are on point. Great customer service. 11/10
Solo dining for the night and this was a great choice. I sat at the bar around 5pm. The place was pretty empty. 4.4 overall.
The good: service at the bar was excellent, although i was only one there. I ordered 3 pies to try a variety and bring some home. They were all good but the classic could have used more cheese and the colony was a little sweet for me but the pizza was a 7.8/10 and vip the best out of the lot. Ambiance was nice, bathrooms clean.
The few challenges: you're paying for the rent a little in the prices, and the cocktails were expensive for well tequila and 4-5oz of actual liquid. Stick with wine. No beer taps. No obvious parking. Bar seats uncomfortable.
I would definitely return when I'm back in the area with family, but i would be selective with timing to avoid the college crowd.
Was so pleasantly surprised my favorite pizza in Brooklyn was here in Athens.
Came for the pizza, also got burgers and everything was impeccable in taste and freshness.
Order:
Vodka pizza: simple and super fluffy yet crispy crust in Detroit style mixed with mama style pizza pies in NY. Incredible, I will always order this. Best pizza I have found in Georgia.
Le Big Matt: cooked to perfection, the Sammy sauce was a nice touch with a hint of horseradish, pretzel bun was a good pairing,
Chopped Cheese Burger: big burger but chopped up was a new item I had never seen, it was simple a classic, very tasty
Caesar Salad: very tasty dressing with anchovy paste as it should be, nice and tangy.
Our server today was running the whole front of the house with bringing food and serving table, Sydney was such a sweetheart and really warmed up the place.
Met the GM Brandon and he was also very kind and gave us some details on the location and how things are made.
Lovely people, incredibly tasty food, a little pricey with ~$20 per person but well worth it and the price paid is reflected in the $ sign on the review. Will 100% be coming back.
A good friend of mine chose here for a weekend dinner and it was lovely! The pizza (the Paulie) was delicious. It’s just big enough for two people to share and not super greasy. The ingredients tasted fresh and it was clear the pizza was made to order. It was about about $20–a nice bang for your buck!
We also did the pitcher of the skinny margarita. They agave was a bit too much for me (tasted a bit artificial), but overall was okay for a 3 ingredient drink. My friend and I got about 4 glasses out of the pitcher so it was definitely a good size for $30.
My friend and I planning to coming to try other cocktails, soon.
Also loved the server. She was attentive, very polite and welcoming. The environment was also very nice.
