The Grit

Wow, what a great place! Today, on a Sunday afternoon, it was full and lively with quick, friendly service. I thoroughly enjoyed a peach/nut/oats slice of pie (yum, yum) and a bottle of kombucha. Next time I'm in town, I'm going to have to make another stop here!

The food at the Grit is incredible. You almost do not notice that there is no meat. Vegetarians and non-vegetarians would love this place. The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is great. One of my absolute favorite places. I have never gotten something here that I did not love!

Depending on your taste buds, this is a hot or miss. Of you are not too extravagant or open to trying new taste than this probably not the place for you. I am a person who enjoys different types of foods and this was a little out there for me. The taste was good but definitely different.

The Grit is one of my favorite places to eat. Give it a try to find out what good vegetarian food is. I usually get a veggie plate with tofu cubes (fried and well-seasoned), mashed potatoes with vegetarian gravy, and a side salad with ginger dressing. I seldom have any room left, but know that the deserts are fantastic. My favorite desert is the Death by Chocolate cake.

Absolutely delicious! I adored everything I had at this restaurant, my delicious appetizer salad down through my lasagna. I usually can't handle most lasagnas but this one was filling and incredibly light. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't had it yet!
