Graduate Athens

We loved the Graduate. The decor was artistic and delightful with a college theme. Breakfast was a $20 coupon to be used in the converted Iron Foundary... also this room used as the lobby and check-in. Atmosphere was quirky and delightful. A credit was given if you used your bath towel two times, so we did. Bathroom was a little small but adequate. Took lots of photos of the decor.

Very cool place to stay with a big group. On site music venue, restaurant, lounge, spa, and pavilion to hang out at. Very close to the downtown action, but just far enough away for some peace and quiet. Would have been 5 stars if the pool would have been open during our visit. Otherwise, very much enjoyed our stay.

Check-in was quick and easy. They do charge for parking, just an FYI. Rooms are ok, nothing too fancy; definitely unique to say the least and a bit dated (but pretty well maintained).

I will say that if you have pet allergies (which I didn’t even realize I had until staying here), you may want to look elsewhere. I could smell “pets” when I walked into my room and my nose and eyes have been in hell ever since.

Nice little hotel. Older, but well kept. Disappointed in the parking situation. Not enough spaces which causes you to park in a parking garage or ride around until you find something on the street. There should be numbered parking for this type of place so that every one has a spot near their room.
