    Absolutely fantastic food with excellent portion sizes! The sides were delicious and we tried nearly every single one. Baked beans, mac and cheese, collards, potato salad, cornbread, and a killer hash. The great food combined with friendly and hospitable staff solidifies a 5 star rating. This place is genuinely worth trying and certainly worth my time to leave a review. Cash or check only so come prepared! (hash, collards, and cornbread pictured)

    I was visiting the Athens area and I really wanted good barbecue. I didn't know anything about this restaurant so I took a chance on visiting. Not only were my ribs delicious and tender, my vegetables were very good and perfectly seasoned, and to top it all off, my red velvet cake was top notch, like my mom's. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!

    This place is great, food is wonderful as are the people that work there! Heard about this place while watching a show on SEC Network and it is as good as they made it sound on the show! Will definitely be back!
