“This place was very nice and quite a pleasant surprise considering its located in the same building as a pharmacy. The food was absolutely amazing, even the people we talked to all said there food was great to. Definitely a place I'll be going back to”

“Used to stop here for a quick coffee or beer as a way to start the day or as an afternoon walk. The conditions for walking can be a bit up and down, so haven't done it in a while. It's alsi close to two bus stops--the #7 and #8.”

“This restaurant has been evolving and changing since it first opened about a year ago. It's a new restaurant trying to work out its identity and decide what it is going to be. It's getting better all the time. They have become more service-oriented, doing more to justify their relatively high prices. Six months ago you had to pump out your own coffee from a thermos at breakfast - now they bring it out to you. There has been rapid turnover in the staff, and the results have improved. The service is better now, but little things, like bringing out butter when you order pancakes, have yet to become routine. In time they probably will.”

“We always enjoy eating at The National! The food is a delicious adventure with spices and veggies that I'm not always familiar with but am delighted to try. And the wait staff is consistently friendly and attentive. It can get a bit noisy in the dining room, but I guess that's what happens when lots of people are enjoying themselves in a not very large space.”

“Fluffy, gooey, creamy, flavorful, delightful, wonderful, amazing goodness!!! It truly left me speechless! I even purchased one for the hotel staff and she devoured it in less than 2 minutes. A standing ovation is definitely in order here!”

“Delicious coffee, friendly service and a nice patio to sit on. You can't have alcohol at the outside tables, but we brought our own food, dipped inside for some drinks, and had a wonderful time. No one was snoody about us bringing take out, which I was concerned about. They have a large variety of drinks and are located in a great area downtown. Definitely will be going back! The alcoholic coffee is a little pricey (7$) but worth the treat”

“This is a great little stop in Athens. The service was great, when I came in they explained the process. You basically pick out what kind of donut you want and then add whatever toppings you’d like as well! I’ve never been to a custom donut place so it was certainly a treat. The coffee is good too, and they feature some cool local art for sale as well.”

“Dunkin donuts has to be one of those places where I go in once in awhile but mainly I just go there for the donuts because I mean come on it's Dunkin and donuts you're definitely coming in because of a donut or at least I am. Overall the quality of their sandwiches are not that great they are okay. The coffee's are pretty good and I like that they are cheap. I love their iced coffee that has to be my favorite type of coffee and I always go for the jelly filled donuts or the apple fritters.”

“I rarely post bad reviews. I have visited this location several times in the past few weeks. On one visit, I ordered bacon and cheese fries as part of my order at the drive through. I realized there was no bacon down the road and drove back to get the bacon added. I stopped by two mornings ago for breakfast, and left after standing at the register for a few minutes without anyone acknowledging me. I had to get to work, and couldn't wait any longer. Tonight, the drive through was busy, so I went inside. No one was at the register, so I tried the kiosk. The kiosk could not accept payment, so I still had to go to the register to complete my order. Then, my order was finally called, and they realized they forgot my salad. I got to the car before I thought to check if they put the salad dressing in the bag. I had to wait in line at the pick-up area again just to get the dressing. What a way to spend at least 30 minutes! Just a reminder of the reason I avoid McDonald's.”

“A 20 minute wait in the "wait here" spot for the drive through as 20 cars drove past with their food. It was rather obnoxious. However, for the price and size of the meal it was worth my frustration. The staff was nice but were likely understaffed as indicated by the wait I experienced. Hopefully they get more staff and next time I'll get more expedient service. Note: the burgers were cooked perfectly and to temperature, but the wait was too much.”
