“I love this place and frequent it often. The Mexican tacos are delicious, the tortas to die for, the nachos supreme, the burritos phenomenal, and the fajitas are fabulous. I will continue coming here until I no longer live here, and even then will come by when I'm in town. The prices are unbeatable, the staff friendly, and the whole place is locally owned and operated. “So I ordered Mac and cheese just asked to hold the bacon ????. Of course I got bacon. Sent is back and it came without the top layer of Mac, shredded cheese, and bacon, which once sat there... as if they just scraped off the top. Bacon bits were still on the bowl so I'm sure they just scraped off the top. I'm paying for what I want, why can't I get what I want? As always the mashed potatoes were the bomb ???? hurts to say the rest of the food was good. ???? Don't let me experience discourage you just be sure to elaborate your wishes well!”

We did have a waiter who's head wasnt into work and kept forgetting things and reaching over our table rudely to refill drinks and get empty plates when I would have passed them to her. “I typically visit the downtown location, as it is close to my house, and the service is great as well. However, this location offers so much more seating (outdoor and indoor), a larger bar area, and it always seems to be so clean! The staff is always super friendly, and the food comes out fast and fresh. I try to come to Blind Pig every week or two, and I am excited when I am closer to this location and this gets to be my stop! This is a great place for groups of friends or families!”

After moving to two different states, my family is still searching for a Mexican restaurant that serves food even a fraction as good as the food here. We are constantly talking about going back to visit Athens, if nothing else to just have a chance to dine here again. The food is amazing. I sometimes seriously consider calling the restaurant to see if they can freeze some of our favorite dishes and overnight them to us. We miss this place so much.”

“Ted’s Most Best is okay...but that’s all. Two employees were okay, nice but not very talkative. The rest of them seemed very stuck-up. I’m not very impressed with the customer service. The food isn’t bad, but remember the prices aren’t bad either, and you get what you pay for. It’s no gourmet meal, but it was still good. The outdoor area is nice, it has a sandbox which is great for kids to play in, however it’s not SUPER well kept. The seating is fairly plentiful to be downtown, so that’s another plus. Overall, it’s not somewhere I would recommend or strive to go to, however if I’m with someone who really wants to go, I would consider returning”

You order at the cash register and the food is brought out to you - be ready with your order when you get to the register because the lines are long and the options are many! It was to chilly to take advantage of the great patio seating during our visit, but it looked very nice and casual. The gumbo was excellent, as was the chicken feast salad. Make sure to try some of the baked goods (brownie was outstanding.)”

The menu is extensive, prices are reasonable, the servings are generous - all the signs of a strong-performing restaurant. “Amazing seafood. The best I've had in many years. $2/oyster is definitely steep, but they are easily the best oysters I have ever had. Everything was very fresh and perfectly done. Except maybe the French fries. They were probably only average. I also hated the ambiance of the place with a passion. It was incredibly loud and the tables were so big, you had to lean way in to have a conversation without yelling. Most other people seemed to be ok with yelling. Still, the food was good enough that I really didn't care much about the horrendous atmosphere.”
