Hickory and Hazel, Renaissance Hotel

Some good ideas and some good items, some things are great ideas but not executed as good as they could be.

I did not stay at this hotel, I was here for Dragon con. However, the hotel itself was very nice. I was mostly in the main lobby areas but I did go to some conference rooms. I can’t say much about the rooms, however the hotel was clean and seems like a nice place to stay.

Bomb! Best breakfast, ordered the egg white, bacon hash brown wheat toast with preserves. The staff is awesome and super friendly , true hospitality, I asked for Mimosa and they accommodated even though was early. Very Happy as food was flavorful and light! Cheers!

A winner for breakfast and dinner! Generous helpings. Try the deviled eggs with candied bacon. You won’t be disappointed. My husband said the chicken wings were the best he has ever eaten...smoky and tender. They were gigantic. He had them without sauce. The chicken wing appetizer ended up being his meal it was that filling. The shrimp and grits were delicious...plentiful and spicy. We’ve also eaten breakfast here. (The Renaissance is my go to night-before-a-morning-flight hotel.) Highly recomend the country fried steak and eggs. The omelet and egg white frittata have been good choices as well.

Had a Wonderful dinner celebrating a friend's Birthday! Food and service was super amazing. The drinks were delish! The hotel and restaurant has amazing decor. Simply can't wait to return!
