Usually a long established restaurant will, unfortunately, begin to rest on it's laurels. Not this one! We live in Canton and come to this fish house because it never disappoints. My hubs ordered clam strips. They were absolutely the best ever. Fried in fresh oil, crispy tender, not greasy. He was in heaven. I ordered grilled jumbo shrimp. Perfectly seasoned, maybe cooked about a minute too long, but they were very, very tasty. Mom ordered a platter of fried grouper and jumbo shrimp. Again, fresh and not greasy. A great meal. If I had any suggestions for this restaurant it would be to spend a few bucks. Update booths, flooring and decor. I know you business is good but it could be better. Atmosphere is a bit lacking. I still love the food!
One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Large portions. Friendly staff. Tonight there was a very good live band. I enjoyed the food music and short wait time for food. Was so full had to get dessert to go. Will definitely be back.
The service was great. Our server Ben was knowledgeable, kind, and one of the best servers in the Marietta district. We gifted him with a book and a nice tip for serving with excellence. Ironically, it was the first time that I didn't have to ask for condiments. ???? It was like Ben knew us. The food was good, but had no flavor (that's my personal preference). The German chocolate cake was good and moist. The coconut cake is like "oh my...this is good" They definitely don't cheat you on the slice of cake ????
Great combination of food and atmosphere. Professional and courteous staff. Everything my wife and I ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My new favorite seafood spot. Will definitely come here again..... and often.
The four stars was because the salad was a bit boring. Simple is good when the entrees are so rich, but at least use Romaine or Boston, not Iceberg. Beyond that, the food was wonderful. Grouper fresh and moist, done to a turn. Crab meat fresh and tasty . Mashed sweet potatoes not overly sweetened. Green beans nicely seasoned. Lemon baked potatoes a new taste sensation-lemony and delicious. Our server, Benjamin, was impeccable. A manager came to check on us and I asked about the lemon potatoes. She told me how they were done and didn't make a national secret of it. It's way out of my way, but I will meet the girls there again and again. Well done! Oh, and BTW, SINFUL desserts.
