I've been to this place a number of times and the food is always delicious. All of the staff is extraordinarily friendly (I'm not sure if it's family owned, but they're all that southern kind of happy nice) and say hi to us like old friends which, really, we're starting to be since we've gone there a number of times the past couple of weeks they've been open. Enough that if we weren't paying for their (great) food they'd have basis for a restraining order because we keep showing up pressing our noses against the window for one word: ribs.

They've been doing ribs on Saturdays the past couple of weeks--apparently the owner was doing it as a special and people liked them so much that they said they might be there to stay--and, man, let me tell you, I could see why people were making a fuss. The ribs were DELICIOUS. All-caps, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth delicious.

The fried chicken and waffles are good (the waffle was alright, pretty standard but the *chicken* is where it shines) and their biscuits are flaky and addicting.

Honestly, we haven't tried anything else because we can't get over the ribs and biscuits but it's good.

The price is pretty standard for a small place, we didn't find them cheap or expensive, somewhere right in the middle. This place used to be a small little business called "Ms. Sassy's Hot Skillet" and they're clearly working on renovating the inside and outside, which is why there's still a sign hanging outside that says Sassy's as per the last time we went in. There isn't much seating inside (six tables, at most) and the comforting sounds of a huge television usually hang over the right wall, but it seems most people come in to get take-out orders and bring their juicy chicken home.

I definitely wouldn't recommend for a large party because there's a lack of space but for you, a pile of indulgent guilt over slamming down a rack of ribs, and your significant other? It's great.

I love this place and I'm pretty sure I'll pop in after writing this.
