Actually pretty good! Definitely better than I was expecting for a strip place in the no-man’s land between Powder Springs and Marietta, but still better than any BBQ I’ve tried in Marietta, like the place on the square, the place in the new depot or the dreaded Williamson Brothers. It’s not Heirloom good but it will definitely scratch the BBQ itch if you can’t make the drive.

Brisket sandwich was great and fried okra was fresh. Good beers on tap.

Fantastic BBQ and they have beer. I went with 3 other people and I had the pulled pork with b stew and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious and the corn bread actually had visible corn in the muffin. They offer many beers including craft brew. I had a few craft and one of my friends had a Corona which wasn't on the list. If you have a favorite you should probably ask for it first to see if they have it. My friends had the ribs and brisket. All great from what they said. The pulled pork was outstanding without sauce. I did try both sauces before I finished and the spicy is my fav. I prefer the flavor of the meat overall. If you listen to Mark Arum this is the mac and cheese he likes. Skip the collard greens if you have crazy high expectations. I tried my friends and they were good (better than I can cook) but not the best. Overall we were all impressed with the food. It is table/server type of place. It does feel like higher quality than most BBQ places and cheaper than the more well known BBQ restaurants.

Food was great! It was sadly empty on a Friday night at 8pm. One suggestion would be to add some domestic normal beers. Offering only craft beers at $6 bucks each was a bummer. I would have loved just a michelob ultra (or two) with my dinner.
Service was good but they were overstaffed with 9 workers for only 2 customers.
I'm afraid that even though the food was awesome and they have a perfect location, they won't be around long unless they change some things.

We visited the BBQ Place about 4 weeks ago. The food here is good. I had the ribs and thought they were some of the best I have had in this area. The resturant was setup nicely and the wait staff was friendly. I was not a fan of the prices as I thought I would get more food for what I paid. I fed a family of four for $43 with tip and we all left hungry. This will be a great place if they can give you more portions.

I am so impressed with the BBQ Place! First, they are only days open but the service was top notch and the food was delicious! Second, the restaurant was clean and well appointed. So cute! I can not wait to walk over with a dog or two and enjoy the patio and the wood fire place in the winter! Did I mention the BBQ...I had brisket that was so juicy and flavorful! The spice rub was excellent and the degree of smokiness top-notch. Of course what is a BBQ restaurant without great sides? I had the mac and cheese and honestly could just have that and be satisfied! But in addition to the side and the ample portion of meat they also give you two yummy cornbread muffins and a sweet slaw with just a hint of something spicy! I will definitely be back.
