UPDATE: 3rd times a charm! Visited again last night and the service has improved greatly. We were seated quickly, given waters and menus right away and the food was great. Big improvement from the previous times I have visited. Nice!

I want to like this place so much but the service level just isn’t there! I’ve tried it twice to give it a chance. We ate there the other night. When we were seated, we got our water and were told our server would be with us in a few minutes. Well about 15 minutes passed and finally someone asked if we had ordered yet, when we said no, she said “are the menus the problem?” Yeah we kinda need menus to order..
We ordered some apps which took a good 30 minutes to come out. A lot of the wait staff were on their phones and when the food came out you could see they were confused as to what table it went to. The food was really tasty. However, if I’m going to spend $100 for two people to eat, I definitely expect better service. It seems they just have some organization issues to work out.

Well-executed Fried Chicken [though it was not the freshest I've had lately], very flavorful, juicy and tender inside and crispy outside. Enjoyed the butter beans. Collards were very good, not your usual sweet recipe. Our hush puppies were a disappointment; they were quite flavorless.

Nice craft beer selection along with many bottle beer options as well as cocktails.

Simple menu of oysters, fried chicken and some interesting takes on southern side dishes served in industrial-modern decor. We ordered a half chicken with two sides and it was plenty of food. Get your chicken HOT, but be prepared to get messy. If that's not your thing try the chicken sandwich, which you can also order hot. I'd also recommend the creamed corn, but side dishes are pricey here. Overall, great addition to the neighborhood.

The food was great, the price point a bit high but the service was lacking. She was slow and did not know the menu. There are two rotating drinks on the beer/cocktail menu there is no reason you should not know what they are before each shift. Also, you are in the south and serve fried chicken so for goodness sakes please serve sweet tea. We will try it again and hopefully we will have a better experience. From a couple that have both been in the business.
