Meatballerz Restaurant

I can't say enough good things about this place. Number one, when you come in Cara, the owner will probably greet you from behind the counter where you can see the kitchen. She will probably also do anything possible to make your stay or dine out opportunity top notch. The other staff member I met on the day I went in was just as happy as the owner, and you could tell she was not faking like some restaurant employees might do. She seemed to genuinely care about every person that stepped through that door. With that being said, I had the spicy meatball (can't remember the exact name) of pasta. I've been in the restaurant industry for a long time so I rarely get super impressed with something. The sauce and meatball were by far the best I've ever had and we make homemade tomato sauce and meatballs at my restaurant. You NEED to check this place out. Amazing is all I can say.

Great experience! Awesome food!
We've been there twice in three weeks. It's a small place with a 2 rows of community style tables and a few high chairs at a high bar top. While the place is small the food packs a lot of flavor and is insanely delicious!! The Pompeii sandwich with spicy meatballs is awesome, so is the Ultimate Italian. The desert fritters are to die for- soft, light and flavorful- I could eat those every day. The service is extremely friendly- the owner will talk to you and even remember you from previous visits. It's a great atmosphere. The place is opened until 9pm and it's on the access road in an warehousing area where many other food trucks have their kitchens and a small restaurant location. There's a plan to open up seating outside during the summer for all the food truck restaurants in the building, so I can see this becoming a very popular place quickly!

Every time I come here, I am treated like family. The food is amazing and you can tell how much love and attention is put into the food. They are always trying out new items to spice up their menu and everything I have had there is amazing. I started coming the day they opened and have gone almost every week since, sometimes more than once a week. It's addictive!

Just be aware that once you go, you will not be able to stop!

The food is ridiculously GREAT!! The meatball sandwich is the best I've ever eaten. The bread is amazing, the meatball is amazing, the "gravy" is amazing - I think you get the point - it's AMAZING! The "Seasonal Fritters" were birthday cake - again, AMAZING! The owners put their heart, soul, heritage and love into their food and you can taste it. We ate at their new cafe at The Food Junction ATL - run, don't walk!!

The absolute best authentic Italian food you can find outside of Italy!! The Pompeii in a Hole, which is the spicy meatball sandwich changed my world! This is not your typical “meatball sub”, this truly is something special. Every detail from the giant spicy meatball hand mixed with fresh chopped herbs and peppers to the gooey melted cheese, the softest specialty baked bread you’ll ever put in your mouth, down to the “gravy” which is something you can only get from an authentic Italian family recipe, is bursting with flavor. This sandwich is truly in a league of its own. They also have a veggie “meatball” for the non meat eaters that is delicious! For dessert, the unicorn fritters are a must try, this warm, sweet colorful fried dough ball drizzled in glaze and topped with whipped cream is sure to make your mouth water. Everything on the menu is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. All that in addition to the warm inviting environment created by the space and the friendly owners who treat you like family will keep you coming back again and again! Like their slogan says, you definitely won’t regret putting their ballz in your mouth! ????????
