Old Brick Pit Barbeque

Yesterday was our first time we visited this fine restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We had a good time with the attentive service, with the superb dishes and fine drinks and with the friendly payment. We will no doubt go back there again.

Can easily buy lunch for $8 or less. Also its always consistent and they have the best bbq sauce by far. Its a vinegar based sauce so if you like vinegar, this is the spot. I also love their mac n cheese

Very elegant and welcoming place. They offer large meals and for inexpensive prices. I loved the meals very much and the waiters were super amiable and chatty. Recommended.

Great lunch place. Order at counter....food is ready in minutes. Sit down and enjoy. Brunswick stew is a must. Chicken is very good. Not the best bbq in the city....but very good. Over all a consistent lunch favorite.

First time at this BBQ icon. I got the BBQ plate, substituting beans for the Brunswick Stew. It came with slaw, saltine crackers, 2 slices of bread and extra sauce. The BBQ pork was tender and not too fatty with a vinegary, peppery NC style sauce. Very delicious. I tasted my partner's stew and ribs. Both were tasty. The slaw was fresh and crunchy, not too sweet. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick. All in all, a good experience.
