Arepa Mia

I had the chicken cachapa. Ir was absolutely delicious. It was so big, I took half to work the next day and 2 co-workers that tried it were also rating it high. It is a sweet corn bread pancake filled with yummy chicken chunks and folded like an omelette

Doing an Avondale Estates restaurant tour, so we visited Arepa Mia for lunch last week.

Never having eaten Venezuelan food, I asked for a recommendation and ordered a slow roasted beef sandwich.

Loved the "bread", but not really a sandwich. I opted to eat with a fork and knife because it would have been difficult and messy to do otherwise.

The beef tasted great, and inclusion of sweet plantains made for interesting flavor combination.

Will definitely return.

This place is so amazing!
Empanadas to die for, everything gluten-free, wonderful Venezuelan food.
Service is extra friendly and don't forget to try their homemade hot sauce & garlic sauce!!!!

Great food right in the center of the neighborhood. Fantastic drinks that can be enjoyed on the patio. Dog friendly patio. Fast service.

We have found our go-to lunch place! It's not conveniently located close to home, but it's worth the drive. I like that they are completely gluten-free (as I suspect I might be sensitive to gluten). Their food is so filling and wonderfully seasoned. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.
