Best Italian sausage I’ve ever had. Fair prices, great service in and amazing food! This is about to be a family favorite once I introduce it to my father (Chicago born!)

We visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was an excellent experience. My wife had a regular hot dog and I had a Polish Sausage. We both marveled at the flavor. We, without any doubt will be stopping there often. I am a disabled veteran and receive care at the VAMC a couple miles away, and this restaurant is on the route to and from. Well worth the visit.

I love hot dogs, sausages, brats, etc. and finding this place was a welcome addition to the list of restaurants frequented.

Atmosphere is what you would expect at a fast food restaurant, but the quality of the food was much better. I had a chili dog and brat w/kraut and both were excellent!

Chili had beans, which was odd but worked. Brat was nicely season and kraut was mild which is my preference.

They have a full menu of dogs, sausages and sandwiches, so I'll definitely be back.

One can never go wrong with Skips. Made fresh to order every time. Best Chicago dogs, Italian Beef to melt in your mouth and the hottest fries in town.
The crew is always amazing and works like a well oiled machine. Always welcomed with smiles and thanked for your patronage. Glad they’ve been around over 30 years.

Thus hidden gem was a pleasant surprise. The service was impeccable and fast. Everyone was friendly. The music had several people singing and popping their fingers. Hit dogs were made to order. They were yummy! Definitely worth another visit!
