This was our first visit to Layaly, and we were glad to find additional parking in the back as the limited space up front was full. For our appetizer, we ordered the grape leaves and the Layaly Mazza, which includes hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, tabouleh, and pita – both were delicious. The Salmon kabob, lamb shank, and Kafka kabob were on point for the main course. The baklava was so much better than others I've tasted, perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. The service was also very friendly.
Love the food and service here. My husband and I have been here several times now. We love the grape leaves and Kibbe for appetizer. Lots of great options for entrees. If we have had any issues or mistakes with the food it's always been corrected without issues.
The food is great. Highly recommend tasting it once in your lifetime. Especially the lamb shanks. However, our bill was overcharged. We didn’t get a receipt of everything we ordered so we could see the pricing either. The server was very friendly as well. She’s very hospitable. We enjoyed our visit. Just the bill is questionable. 3 star because of price and food is 5 ⭐️
I didn't have a lot of expectations when I walked in because there were barely any reviews at the time and the restaurant was pretty new. Anyways, our server was Sara, and she came up to us with this amazing energy that made us feel super welcomed. She told us about all the specials for that day and like a bunch of hungry animals, we ordered lots and lots of food!
The food came out pretty quickly so we were happy. The presentation was on point and the food was phenomenal! Each and every dish we ordered, tasted fresh and had amazing flavors. The restaurant wasn't very busy so Sara checked on us multiple times. My favorite was the lamb shank- it was moist and tender. Try anything you like on their menu because there wasn't any disappointment.
However, I did think that the pricing was a bit higher than what other restaurants are offering in the area. But we all know it's a hard time for small business owners; I'm not gonna complain about it as the food was delicious! Give it a try and like my review if you enjoyed the food I also have posted a video on my IG- atlanta_diaries so check that out if you're interested to know about more halal options in Atlanta.
