“This was our first visit to Layaly, and we were glad to find additional parking in the back as the limited space up front was full. For our appetizer, we ordered the grape leaves and the Layaly Mazza, which includes hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, tabouleh, and pita – both were delicious. The Salmon kabob, lamb shank, and Kafka kabob were on point for the main course. The baklava was so much better than others I've tasted, perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. The service was also very friendly.”

“Finally got to try Jebena Bistro and it was delicious!! So glad it's opened near me and excited to go back. The veggie platter was perfectly seasoned, and the sambusa was so fresh and steaming hot. The environment was very cute and nicely decorated for a Bronx bagel feel, but it was pretty warm inside the restaurant because of the bagel ovens so be prepared to take to go or try to get one of their outdoor seats. Personally, I found the ratio of cream cheese to other toppings over the top and found myself scraping off some cream cheese. Also there were no kosher or vegetarian breakfast sausage options. Would be back for the rosemary sea salt bagels!”

“Nice and easy menu, nothing complicated. Good selection of boba drinks and reasonable price. I ordered vietnamese coffee with boba and bánh mì đặc biệt. Coffee I asked for 50/50 but overdone with condensed milk but still good. Bánh Mì is awesome, I love the red sauce. This taste like bánh mì in Saigon. Thumb up for bánh mì and totally recommended.”

“Excellent new addition to the food court in Chinatown. The double cooked pork is one of the best dish that I ever had. Very traditional with belly pork, crispy, very tasty with some green spicy peppers, black beans and cabbage. The portions are very large with very decent prices. The soup dumplings are really delicious. I think it is the best restaurant in food court and definitely my go to place now!”

“First time anyone cared enough about the delicate crispiness of their 5-star chicken to tell me upon takeout, "Keep the paper bag open so the steam inside a closed paper bag will not diminish the crispiness!" Thank you for this lesson, Yummy Place! On top of that, the size of the chicken pieces was double anything I have ever seen! My mother and I could have easily split one piece! Instead, we had enough for 4 delicious meals! Thank you, Yummy Place. On top of that, the dumplings were out of this world! We can't wait to go back and try more yummy things! Have to go back now!”

“I'm insane and have been waiting for this location by my house to open. I've tweeted them and dm'd them and finally it happened! Finally went and took my husband. He got the lamb pita and it was great. I made my own bowl, everything was delicious as usual. It's definitely new, and you can tell with the service. It wasn't bad by any means, but little things like not getting you the pita that comes with your bowl, and mixing up super vs. splendid greens. No biggies, I'm sure they'll iron everything out! The only thing that bugged me is that I asked for pickles and the employee accidentally put pickled onions on the bowl. I told her, and she went to throw the whole bowl out. I think she was told by the manager, but not sure. I asked her not to and that I'd just pick them off. I don't fault them, but I don't like that, especially at a place like Cava where "Food is a force for good." The level of nonchalantness toward food waste while partnering with organizations to reduce food insecurity is a turn-off. ESG initiatives are only great if you can walk the talk. It could be a great training opportunity.”
