Corner Slice

Went on a Fri night and was very happy. My wife and I split a large and had tons of food. Was greeted when I came in and, having ordered on line my pie was ready. It was hot, thick, and cheesy, and after two slices each we tapped out with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. Also had the Greek salad which was more than enough for two. No complaints, and a worthy addition to the neighborhood. Thought the price was right too. We’ll be back.

I've been wanting to try this since I first heard it was opening. The pizza was absolutely amazing. Crispy edges, fresh sauce, and fresh toppings. I can't wait to try it again. I can understand why they sell out so fast!

This was our first time ordering from Corner Slice and holy smokes we are blown away! We ordered online for pick up & had the handmade Mozzarella Sticks (they waited until we arrived to fry them fresh), Regular Detroit Pizza, Hero Sandwich, and Greek Salad.

The mozzarella sticks were perfectly cooked, (not greasy) golden, brown, & crunchy delicious. The marinara dipping sauce was the right balance of chunky, velvety tomatoes and full of flavor.

The pizza was a pillow of pure happiness - caramelized cheese on the corners, perfect amount of sauce, airy, fluffy dough with a crunchy bottom & a satisfying chew. Bonus points for being heavy handed with the pepperonis & lots of gooey, lightly browned cheese. A box of Heaven.

The Hero Sandwich brought me back to my childhood - toasted house made sesame seed focaccia full of rich, savory sliced meats & thin ribbons of crunchy lettuce tossed in a light dressing all held together with a warm hug of melted cheese making it the right kind of joyful messy.

Even the Greek Salad was dressed to impress - perfect balance of lettuce to toppings: sliced multi-colored tiny tomatoes, crisp cucumber, tangy feta, briny kalamata olives, & a spicy pepperoncini (if spice is your jam). Beautiful, freshly made balsamic dressing to weave it all together.

If you care about yourself and appreciate those you dine with, you need to eat here just to tell your tummy, "I love you". We are so excited to have this in our top list of where to dine in Decatur.

I have been trying to check out Corner Slice for a few weeks now. I walk by all the time and it smells amazing when they are open. However, I have tried to go a couple times only to find out they sold out and closed early. Some seriously delicious pizza though. I've never had Detroit style pizza from Detroit, but this is certainly my favorite Detroit style pizza from Atlanta. The super crispy edge is amazing.

Pizza was so delicious! Crispy yet fluffy, so excited corner slice is open in the neighborhood. Baked to order so expect a little wait. Wings are very good too! Excited to try lots of other things. No booze yet as they’re still waiting on liquor license.
