I stopped by here with my mom because it was on the way to Tucker. I was a bit reluctant to try this place at first because I didn't know what to expect from an Ethiopian restaurant, but it was absolutely amazing! We had the green lentils (don't remember the name of the dish) and it was delicious! The staff is also very friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Great, authentic Ethiopian food and an awesome environment. There are lots of yummy options even if you are vegetarian/vegan. Customer service is excellent. The set up is very nice with beautiful original Ethiopian art on the walls — definitely coming back!

Mela has a great atmosphere. Friendly staff and amazing food. I highly recommend the sambusa and if you’re looking for a shareable dish....go for the Mela Special. Most delicious Ethiopian food I’ve ever had.

Very trendy place here the food is fantastic because I got the chance to eat few dishes in a couple of days.

My husband and I, along with our 2 month old daughter, dined here today. We had chicken tibs and the super veggie combo. It was plenty enough for us to share with each other. EVERYTHING was amazing. I’m big on presentation and customer service, and they exceeded my expectations. The price of the food was very reasonable. (They could really charge twice as much for their food and it would still be worth it.) The owner and our server were very hospitable and made our first experience here a pleasant one. We highly recommend Mela Ethiopian Kitchen and will definitely dine here again.
