Fresh, inventive local food. Homemade noodles with fresh veggies, and lots of chicken. Fish ba mi sandwich. Inspiring art for sale on the walls, including a whale, fish, a queen bee and even a bear in the woods! Yummy desserts. Homemade ice cream and coconut cream pie. Great place. Go there. You will be glad you did.
I went to a work lunch with some colleagues last Friday and my mind was blown! We started with the mussels and fritters as appetizers. Oh, the mussels! A massive serving of the most mouth-watering mussels in garlic and white wine sauce. For my main, I ordered the spicy sliced beef sandwich with daikon and cabbage slaw. It was a perfect marriage of spice and sweet and texture. My side was the seasonal peas. They made me mad, they were so fresh and perfectly cooked with little bits of bacon! I have been gushing about this place since and can't wait to go back! The service was awesome - casual but very professional. I highly recommend visiting this place! Bring a big group so you can order lots to share. I would have ordered more, but already felt gluttonous. All the more reason for me to go back!
The food was well seasoned, simple and seasonal yet tasty.Avoid busy weekend nights if possible bc parking is limited and the space itself is quite small with not a lot of seats. However, it is definitely worth a try, and we will be returning.
Terrific neighborhood restaurant that's a sharp cut above most. Ordered a bowl of mussels for an app, and a burger. Well, the bowl of mussels was more like Bucket of Mussels...such a big serving, and delicious to boot, that I cancelled my burger (next visit!) and enjoyed those buttery, garlicky bivalves with a serving of their crusty bread..Yum! Good selection of wine and craft beer, too. Be back soon!
