Rice Mac

Pleasantly surprised by this corner of the shopping center Asian restaurant. My daughter chose the kids portion sesame chicken with fried rice. The rice was very flavorful and moist with bits of egg. It wasn't sticky or dry in the least. The sesame chicken was appropriately cut into perfect bite sized chunks and had just the right amount of sauce to sesame seed. My 7 year old daughter was very happy and mentioned that it was one of the best she'd ever eaten! I chose my favorite orange chicken with fried rice and wonton soup. It had the perfect orange zest that I'd expected with just a hint of spice. The wonton soup was served in a small container however it was the perfect amount to accompany the main course as the portion size is quite substantial. I also decided to try another favorite of mine, steamed Pork Goyza and they were are also quite delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very open and airy and although more situated for takeout the dining space is comfortable and great for a small group or family. As and added plus our server, Simon, had a wonderful personality. A smile on his face from the moment we walked in and witty conversation added to this spectacular dining experience. If you're in the North Decatur area and have a craving for delicious low cost Hibachi then look no further than Rice Mac.

Not bad food but on the fast food side

One of my favorite places. Food is always delicious and staff is always so kind. I usually get the kids meal because the regular meal comes with a lot of food AND an order of soup. I'm usually there before work so no taking anything home for me :( but it's great if you want to eat there and then save the rest for home.

Good food, I really do like the food but damn do they take forever to make it. I’ve gotten larger items (full entrees) and I’ve gotten smaller items (wonton soup), I have never spent less than 15 min in there. Again, it’s good. But being from NYC, the wait kills me. If you have time on your hands, you can eat here. But I’ve had better with less wait time.

The food is really good. You can dine in to eat, you can also do to go and pick up. And delivery too. The staff is very nice and friendly. Will definitely come back again.
