Oh my goodness! This place is wonderful! Fast, beautiful, friendly helpful staff! We haven’t had such a perfect meal where all flavors were so balanced in a long time! Spicy things were flavorful but not too hot! And savory things were so delicious! We kept sighing and oohing the whole meal! Soup dumplings, eggplant that was tender and flavorful and buttery! We loved the crispy green onion pancakes! Tender Mongolian beef, savory and spicy string beans flavored with pork, Singapore noodles that were the perfect balance, yummy taro cakes (savory-like a potato pancake but much better for you!) Then for dessert we had bao buns with salted egg custard and pumpkin almond buns. This is a winner on all points! I can’t recommend them highly enough! They are very near 285 so very easy to get to! Also very close the Buford hwy Farmers Market which is SO FUN!
Wow, good service, good portions, good foods, good pricing, very clean & new restaurant. I need to return & try other dishes. We enjoyed all the items we ordered. Beef chow fun with black bean sauce did not look typical, but tasted so good.
Came in and was seated right away. The owner seemed really nice to both English speaking, and especially Mandarin/Cantonese speakers for recommendations.
Purely food based review:
Cha Siu Bao - Pretty good, fluffy and not dry. Would recommend.
Mini Soup Dumplings (pork) - They're tiny, not as soupy and is a bit expensive. I don't think I'd recommend unless you're craving some.
Fried Beef Buns - I probably would've preferred pork instead but I love the way they fry their buns. Would recommend!
Har Gow - Standard, decent choice if you just want Dim Sum
Siu Mai - Bit too salty and not as juicy for my tastes, wouldn't recommend.
Beef Chow Fun - This really surprised me how good this is! Not oily at all and a good portion. Would highly recommend!
Combination Fried Rice - Another welcome surprise, not oily and a ton of meat packed in!
Overall a growing spot but would recommend if you want a nice Cantonese/Mandarin spot with some curry options! A bonus is that they're right across the new Buford Highway Art Mural!
Great new place in the Doraville area. The food was great, plenty of choices at a really good price, won't go hungry here. Service was amazing, check them out for sure 10/10
The shrimp dumplings were delicious. Service was impeccable and fast. Tim treated us like family and our 1 year old loved him. Family friendly restaurant. 2 people eat till full and was around $15 per person
