While you may crave something different in fast food choices, Captain D's is usually a good choice. However, since most of these fast food restaurants employ teenagers, you really have to exert a lot of patients for your order to be satisfactory upon delivery. If competent management is present you may have a better chance of receiving the order correctly but when the boss is away, the kids will play.
This particular establishment was having a challenging time balancing the priority of completing an order in a timely fashion. The crew would prioritize the drive-up window orders and neglect the counter dine in orders. I waited 28 mins for an order. The saving grace was the manager who was actually cooking and preparing the orders did a great job at "cooking" the orders to perfection. It was also an hour before closing time and the teen associates were more concerned with going home, than getting the orders fulfilled for the waiting customers. So, as the adage goes " Good help is hard to find" and " You're only as good as the person on top". They still have a lot to learn.
