“I love a neighborhood bar! It was a great place to be for a Superbowl night. It was almost packed but I felt there was no reason for the service to be so slow and food not up to par. I understand smoking but I didn't like the smokey environment although I would really like to frequent this place if it weren't for smoke and service. On a Superbowl night you should be prepared for a crowd and their food necessities and understand that people want to hear the Superbowl commercials because that's part of the Superbowl experience and not get upset when they ask to hear them (waitresses)! You should have the ability to be cute and none attitudinal at the same time especially in a bar! Excuse me but duh! I don't mean to go off but the Wooden Nickel seems to be a great place as a neighborhood bar be it not for the aforementioned issues. I will give them a second chance.”
