“We really enjoy eating here. It is family friendly meaning no bar or alcohol being served. We are so thankful to have a Mexican restaurant like this again. The owner is very friendly and humble and the waiters and waitresses did a great job serving and checking on us constantly. The food was delicious and it's the best salsa we've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. It tastes very fresh and authentic. So happy to finally have a good sit down restaurant that's not fast food and is a good atmosphere for my young children. The few low reviews they had were only because they were trying to adjust to the huge crowds trying them out the first week or two. They have gotten even faster at serving since our first visit and they are also very good at modifying your order if you would like something extra or something taken off. Me, my husband and children and church family will be back soon.”

“Found The Twisted Tastebud by chance, just Googling, looking for a non-chain restaurant we'd never tried before. Fortunately we hit a jackpot with this one! The owner is friendly and a lovely person - we ended up hanging out and chatting for 3 hours! The food is fresh and tasty, with nice size portions. We will definitely be back!”

“The food was good and the staff was great. I seriously cannot say enough about how amazing and hard working this staff is. Brandy was our waitress. She was super attentive and easy going. The gentleman running the counter up front was also very nice and personable. Every person in our group said the food was great. I should have ordered something other than what I did but that's my fault, not theirs and it was still good.They put out gloves for you to wear at the buffet for use of the tongs, which I appreciated. The mixed drinks were a little watered down but that is just a tiny critique and did not hinder my experience at all. Get there right at 5 when the buffet starts or you may have to wait a little bit but it is very worth it if you do. My advice, you can't go wrong with the steak for dinner and the turtle cheesecake for dessert. Ask for Brandy's section. Enjoy!”

“Hidden treasure for sure! Went on Father's Day weekend. My dad wanted some seafood and our route was to go to Red Lobster. Instead we went here and were not disappointed! The steak and peppers on a stick were so delicious. 29.99 for seafood buffet or 39.99 to add crab legs to your buffett! We were up to our eyes in food! My 5 year old loved looking out the window and seeing "Pete", about a 8 food alligator, swimming around the slew. Such an awesome place. Great customer service.”

“First time back in years. We had a large group of people and I expected to wait a while on food, but surprisingly it was brought out rather quickly in my opinion. The appetizers were brought quickly and the food started arriving shortly there after. It probably helped we got there early and the crowd was light. Food was pretty decent. Had steak and fried shrimp and crab stew appetizer. It wasn't bad, maybe a little better than average to me.”

“GREAT SERVICE AND DELICIOUS FOOD! Stopped by on the way to Atlanta from Savannah. It wasn't super close off of the interstate but is was a relatively quick drive and easy to find. The service and food was AMAZING! I could eat the bang bang shrimp, fried okra, and fried corn for every meal. We also had the catfish fingers, hushpuppies, and coleslaw which were all great. This place is definitely worth the stop, whether you live nearby or if you are just passing through.”
