Southern Charm Restaurant

I asked an old guy on the street where to get a good meal, Southern Charm is the only place he recommended. The only place.

What a great experience! My son and I went for lunch and enjoyed everything! But I have to say that our server, Tara, made the whole experience! Friendly, knowledgeable and experienced, (and a real cutie too) we never wanted for anything. Perfection! I think I have a crush on her! Oh to wish for my younger days! I don’t get to Blue Ridge often but I’ll be making a point to eat here when I do. It seems that the other servers were very good as well so I know I’ll be in good hands no matter what! We had mozzarella and a nice house salad for starters, the Philly cheese steak and a buffalo blue cheese burger. ALL WERE EXCEPTIONAL! The strawberry cobbler was as good as it gets too, all that ice cream melting, I need another!

We have eaten at Southern Charm restaurant several times and it's great each time. The fried chicken is divine and the meat loaf is really good also. Biscuits, fried okra, collards, smashed potatoes, and much more are amazing. And the service...all smiles and speedy also. The house has a great atmosphere. We will be back soon!

I was surprised by this restaurant! Some of the family was in the mood for southern food and we found this place. The atmosphere was so quaint and cute, and the service was great! The food was amazing, we wound up getting their fresh collard greens too, and the difference I could taste in them was surprising. Notably, the ham was amazing as was the hash brown casserole. Overall everyone was happy with their dish!

Fried mozzarella was tasty. My husband really enjoyed his meatloaf. My southern fried chicken was... ok. I didn't seem to share the same flavorful experience as others. That being said, I love and use a lot of spices in my cooking, so my taste buds may be a bit demanding. It was certainly a generous portion and it was cooked well. We both enjoyed the mashed potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli seemed to be in a little bit of broth maybe? Either way- very yummy. Oh! And the sweet tea! Loved it! Not obnoxiously sweet. Just perfect.

Southern Charm was the BEST food we had on our trip to Blue Ridge. Honestly, it was some of the best southern comfort food I’ve ever had. The prices are unbeatable, the biscuits and apple butter are amazing, and the tea is sweet and refreshing! The fried chicken is made to order and is delicious as well. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent! I’d recommend Southern Charm to anyone going to Blue Ridge!
