Jefferson's - Rome, GA

In town for a quick visit, I decided to wander down to the Between the Rivers historic district and see if I could find a decent place for lunch. I recognized the name of this establishment from a satellite location in a nearby town, but I don't have any personal familiarity with their menu or reputation. I chose the simplest of options: cheeseburger, fries, and beer. This is the basic meal by which you can probably reasonably critique the vast majority of diner-type joints anywhere you go. By my estimation, the food was exactly what I was hoping for: tasty, reasonably priced, and fairly quickly prepared and delivered. I was especially pleased with the thick-cut crinkle fries and the surprisingly inexpensive craft IPA from the local Rome City Brewing Co. I'd be willing to return and explore the menu further.

The food was good, especially the sweet potato fries & onion rings. A meal for two will run around $25. They are located in the down town of Rome. There was ample parking on Sunday afternoon.

Really Wonderful Visit, Really Enjoyed My Lunch With My Guest. The Staff Treats Every One With Respect, Kinsness,I Really Like The Sweet Potato Fries And Dipping Sauce. And The Western Burger. Are Fantastic. And The Fried Pickles Appetizers Are Very Good. Prices Are Very Competitive.

This place is unique, it's a little cramped for how many people want to go there, but walking by it you can smell the food. My wife pretty much made us eat here and I didn't regret it. For both of us to eat full meals and two kids meals it only ran us around 30 bucks. This place is crazy affordable and their food is delicious. Definitely coming back to this one. Only thing that could have been better was our server, she didn't check back on us till I was ready to go.
