The Ridge-Great Steaks and Seafood

I rarely if ever complain about my food and as far as I can remember have never posted a negative public review. But I have to say tonight was one of the worse dining experiences I have ever had. Out of 6 steaks that were ordered all 6 were over cooked. 3 were supposed to be med rare all were closer to med well. 3 were supine to be medium and 2 were well done the 3rd was beyond well done. The Manger offered a couple of desserts to make up for the bad steaks which we declined. But made no effort to make sure we were satisfied or whether or not we would return. We won't be and will be giving negative reviews to anyone else that asks.

My husband and I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Was a Saturday night so fairly busy. Took awhile for a waiter to even get our dink order. We order drinks and an appetizer, the buttered croissants which are amazing! Again, took awhile to even get this. We ordered 2 steaks, they were cooked medium rare as we asked but were quite difficult to cut. Not sure if was from the meat or the knives we had weren't sharp enough - either way, disappointing. We were looking forward to a nice meal for date night, instead it was a less than average meal with mediocre service. They boast that they've been voted the best steakhouse, Longhorn could provide a better cooked steak and service.

Each dining experience at The Ridge has been outstanding. The quality of the food and the broad selection of menu items makes each experience unique. We took our neighbors for their first visit and we know they will be back. Our evening was capped-off when the owner stopped by the table and introduced himself. Great menu, awesome staff and friendly owner.

Food was good, atmosphere was cool. Only downside for our visit was that we got a new waitress. She couldn't answer any of our questions without having to go ask someone and rarely came by the table to check on us. We had to flag her down a couple of times. But I think overall the restaurant is good and the staff is very friendly. We'll give it another try!
