Big Dave's Cheesesteaks

I have been waiting for this place to open. I work 1 block away and was pleased with the customer service. However my order was wrong and it seems once your sandwich is made you’re pretty much stuck with having to pick off what you didn’t ask for. I understand moving the line fast to have crowd control and happy customers but having my order made correctly for a satisfying meal is worth the wait. Slow down and pay attention to the orders for the BEST satisfaction.

This review is for the downtown spot. I have been waiting to eat here 2 years the other spot was too far. but now it's 15 minutes away. It's worth every penny. Shout out to Marcus he was a big help. Don't let those old reviews hinder you

I love Big Dave’s concept it’s pretty simple you get a Signature PhillyCheeseSteak right here in Atlanta. Dave uses the best meat (grass-fed)for the best taste! He also have chicken wings and Italian Ice for the customer. Wonderful concept wonderful place to eat. Big Dave get 5 stars in my book. Be prepared to wait everything cooked fresh to order!!!

I had the opportunity to visit Dave’s on 06-30-2019. Let me start by saying I talked my daughter into going after reading all the great reviews. We drove 45min to the location. Once placing our order, we were told the estimated wait time would be 1.5 hours. It turned out to be THREE hours. It was evident that the back log (or wait time) did not come from the number of customers that were ordering. As we waited patiently it was obvious that the back up stemmed from the preparation of the food. It was basically a bottle neck from the cook to the sandwich maker. The production could not produce the product quick enough! At the end of the day there was a lot of excitement from the customers that were waiting, however there is no sandwich worth waiting three hours for. I hope once you open your store front location your productivity gets better. My opinion of the sandwich was very good; however, it could have been much better if the topic was not so focused on the time it took to get the meal. Good Luck!!!!!!!

The wait is worth it! You drive up and think "this can't be the place everyone is talking about." Then you stand in line to order, find a place to sit and wait. You get to know everyone, and finally, your number is called. Then you open the wrapper, inhale the aroma, look upon the bread, meat, veggies, and take that first bite. And, at least my first thought, the wait was definitely worth it. My next thought was "when can I do this again?"
