The food was fantastic but, we had HORRIBLE SERVICE. We waited 10 after being seated before our waited greeted us — no water prior. When our food arrived, the food runner had mixed up our steak temperature so he literally changed everyone’s plates around three times. Once we cut into the steaks, we had to exchange plates again. Our waited left while this musical plate experience was going on. We got us to find him to help resolve. We he came back over, he said he new it was wrong... no help. It would take forever for more drink rounds. Overall, this was not the service you would expect when you are paying $60 for a steak.

This is our second year in a row going to Hal's and it has been absolutely excellent both times. The steaks are out of this world. We had an appetizer that was fried lobster bites (it's called something different I can't remember) and they are just outstanding. Salads, sides, and drinks...everything we had was just simply put amazing. Our server Avi was excellent, he is extremely knowledgeable about the menu including all the specials not on the menu. I will continue to come back when I'm in town. Best place I've eaten in Atlanta. Full disclosure my steak was pretty over cooked and I'm sure they'd have fixed it had I said anything but I didn't want to wait for another to be cooked and just ate it and although it was practically well done it was still delicious. This isn't enough of an issue to change the rating considering my previous experience last year and the rest of our meal and service this year.

Couldn't finish the veal. Tough. Chewy. Honestly could barely cut it with the provided knife. Good sauce though. Didn't finish my food. Great garlic bread and oysters though. Nice service though

The server was really informative and his accent was AWESOME and he was VERY knowledgeable of their menu items! There orders were GREAT, the steak was a good sized chunk and VERY tasty, and the bread pudding was DELICIOUS!! Only complaint...they didn't have sweet tea! But I would DEFINITELY go back!

Good menu. Mussels in sauce, best I've had in the States. Large and bowl full. Enough to take with you for later. Two can share and have aplenty. Ate upstairs, light and airy.
For me. Too dark in dining area downstairs.
They are now open on FRIDAYS for lunch.
Only have sandwiches on luncheon menu. All other entrees listed., Prices are same for lunch as well as dinner . Would be nice if entrees were priced lower for lunch on FRIDAYS.
    Valet parking.
Have selection of pasta, seafood, specialty steaks,, and chicken. Staff very accommodating.
