Although parking was tricky, this places was highly enjoyable! I got a regular latte that taste great and was prepared in a timely manner. This small shop was clean, comfortable and creative. Taking a smaller area and making the best use of it for its customers!
Good food and big assortment of teas -- definitely give it a shot! Came on a Saturday morning around 11 to get some work done and managed to grab a spot near an outlet. Tables for bigger groups freed up around 12:30 after the morning rush died down. Only downside was no bike rack outside :(
Good coffee and good food. Great place to sit and get some work done or have a breakfast date.
Coffee was good and food was also fine. Cute location and plenty of room to set up shop and work.
First of all, the space is beautiful and unique- dramatic vaulted ceiling with plenty of natural light and modern yet tasteful furniture. The coffee is good and the food options are extensive - I had a cheese and egg biscuit that was all made from scratch. You’re definitely going to get more than your standard pastry.
That said, they do have an impressive pastry/desert display.
The location is delightful - tucked away just off the main drag of “downtown” Virginia Highlands and between their lot and street parking, I’ve never had a problem driving there.
As a personal anecdotal side, one morning I was there I was dressed nicely and was trying not to get my egg and cheese biscuit on my clothes. I was using small cocktail napkins from the prep station on my lap to catch crumbs, and one of the ladies working there noticed and brought me a full sized dinner napkin. I was very impressed by this gesture and attention I felt I was receiving as a customer.
