Been to this place a couple times and it a super yummy! I like going early to get the most selection of pastries
Things you should know:
I. LOCATION
Within Ponce City Market, on the second level of shops.
II. SERVICE
No complaints
III. QUALITY
Fresh & delicious. The ginger molasses cookie we bought had a crisped outer edge and gooey center; perfection. The coffee, on the other hand, well... This is a bakery and not a coffee shop. So, don't expect their coffee to be the spotlight with selections and options. It is, however, a nice pairing to their pastries.
IV. CAPACITY
There was a small line with a quick wait time for a Saturday, early noon. There's no seating within the shop, so don't expect to come here looking for a nice sit-down experience. You'll have to go out into the common area / shared space of the entire Ponce City Market.
Sad they had to downsize their shop but they did not downsize in flavor and quality. The croissant sandwiches are a huge winner and all their baked sweets are impeccable. My favorite is the morning bun. Think your childhood cinnamon sugar bread but flaky and butterier than you can imagine. It was a spiritual experience eating it.
I love this place!
Croissant chicken apple sausage breakfast sandwich-da bomb. The staff are lovely as can be.
A must try!
Best grit bowl ever!! I believe the radishes were fermented...? So good.
The combination of everything (arugula, radishes, fennel?) with the sooo creamy grits, soft boiled egg, cheese - speaking my language!! 🤤
My corn cookie was also amazing. Currently searching for radish and cookie recipes :D
