This is a soul food restaurant in the heart of downtown East Point. The food is ok. Mostly unseasoned and the potato salad is dry. But the fried chicken is fried to perfection! I only go there for that.

Great lunch with good options. Fried chicken wasn't out in front, but my friend asked if they had any and they didn't hesitate to check the back, confirm that it's just coming out of the fryer, asked him which pieces he would like, and got it. Everything is good!

Had lunch here yesterday, nice spot if you're on a budget, less than $20 for two lunch plates with drinks, not bad at all. The portions are not large, but for the price, I can't complain. Tea was sweet, baked chicken was ohhhh so tender, the chicken was falling off the bones.

Went in for a veggie plate and decided to get a baked chicken plate. The food was tasty, I thoroughly enjoyed the squash and cabbage, I typically always add onions and tomatoes slices. The restaurant was clean and has a true soul food feel.
