This would be a 2-star review, but the biscuits and oxtail gravy was bussin. That was the only highlight of the meal, unfortunately. I got the wings and red velvet waffles. I was almost insulted by how small the wings were--at first glance I thought it was hummingbird. The waffles *looked* good, but lacked flavor and were kind of dry. One of my friends got the salmon croquettes--they were too dry for him to finish. I was looking forward to T's, but it was a let down. I'd consider going back, but only for apps and drinks.
We had a great experience with Sunday brunch. The peach mimosa in the mimosa flight and Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast were the standouts to me. Our server Kiki answered our questions, gave us recommendations and took great care of us. The DJ was great although a little too loud and the menu was a bit pricey for what it was but those would be my only critiques. I would definitely recommend to others and come again
Top-notch service from Keke. The restaurant was decorated nicely and clean, DJ was playing some goodies. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with salmon. The potatoes were delicious the rest of my meal was just okay, the salmon was a tad bland and I should've stuck with the traditional breakfast croissant as bacon/sausage, egg, and cheese. We paid $60 for a pitcher of pineapple/mango mimosas and I'm still waiting for the mango flavor to show itself. They have a 2-hour max table time which they do not adhere to, and 45 minutes alone to get mimosas which causes you to have to pay a lot extra for parking even though it is validated. Hanging with the girls made it enjoyable.
Upon arrival on a late Monday morning I have found this place to be clean and not crowded (which is what I was hoping for even though we had about a 10-15 minute wait for a table).
I ordered Granny's Fried Chicken with collard greens and Mac and Cheese and enjoyed my meal immensely. The chicken was seasoned and fried like I like it (cooked through and not hard where it's dried out). The Mac and Cheese was creamy and the collard greens were good (not too much seasoning though) and went well with the chicken and other side.
For drink I ordered the Strawberry Lemongrass mimosa (yum). My dining companion ordered the cinnamon toast French toast, scrambled eggs, and grits. He enjoyed his meal as well and said it was very filling.
Came to T’s Brunch Bar located in midtown this morning and to say everything was amazing would be an understatement! I ordered the Lamb Chops on Juniper with a side of Mac and cheese. The customer service was unmatched as our server Hasaan was so attentive, professional, kind and consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed! The bartender was amazing as well and quick!! Overall the ambience, the music and vibes were perfect! I can’t wait to come again.
