The food is really great here but the only problem is the constant issues with the service being inconsistent and terrible.

    UPDATE:
We returned to better service and even better food. Never thought it was possible for the food to get better, but it did. Our server was there for everything we needed and our glasses never ran dry. I would recommend el taco. Our service has been much better since I originally posted this review.

Very different than your usual taco & burrito joints. Food was amazing. I had the five taco platter and the wife had short stack which was a deconstructed enchilada. Our server Ryan was very helpful and did a fantastic job. We will definitely be back.

But bring back the original Smoked Chicken Taco.. It was perfect the way it was.
If you must know... my go to was two smoked and two fried.
    The combination was harmonious.
    Bring back the harmony.
    Love you guys.
    Thanks.

The atmosphere was lively; however, the food was not that great.

I went with a large group of friends, and the restaurant had ample seating and parking for all of us - which was great! However, the food was underwhelming.

I ordered the Mexican pizza and the key west margarita. The pizza looked exciting but was incredibly bland, and the crust was extremely thin and flavorless. I ended up just adding a lot of mango habanero salsa and eating the toppings. The margarita was good, but there was way too much ice.

I honestly was expecting a better experience given the price I paid. Wouldn’t come here again by my own choice.

This restaurant is my favored. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very receptive and the cooking they cook is so delicious. I never decline to have a good meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.
