The girlfriend and I stopped by to get some food for dinner and another couple we would hang out with a lot (Pre-Covid) told us about this place or heck maybe the girlfriend told them... either way.. it was my first time going and I haven't had any "Soul Food" in a minute so I thought it was a good idea.

The staff pretty much greeted us at the door to take our order. We only had a chance to look at the daily specials so we weren't quite ready to order yet. In all honesty, I don't know if they were bored and was happy to see us or if they are that aggressive with taking your order.

The place is not that big and it was a little empty so I was like "oh boy!" I asked the girlfriend how she felt with just a few people in the establishment and her stomach answered... "OH WE ARE ORDERING SOME FOOD!" Yes ma'am I replied and we ordered!.

She ordered, Pork Chops, Chicken, collards, cabbage and mac n cheese
I ordered, the smothered turkey wings, collards and mac n cheese!

I was actually surprised.... the chicken and pork chop were actually pretty good...

The turkey wings were good but I am not a fan of salt and the gravy had just a little too much salt for me.... please keep in mind that I don't eat salt that much at all so any salt is too much for me.

The mac n cheese was my favorite of all the sides.... the collards were good and I just didn't care for the cabbage.

Either way... I will certainly go back and try them again.

Stop by there and see what you think!

    Y'all be Easy!

I recently tried this place after looking for a soul food restaurant. There is a wait but this isn't a fast food spot so don't expect to go in and come right back out within a few minutes. I had the smothered pork chops, greens, mac & cheese, yams with cornbread. The entire meal was good. The food was seasoned well and it wasn't greasy at all. I will be visiting this establishment again.

First visit - Perfectly cooked, not greasy or over-seasoned. The catfish was melt in your mouth good!!

    Part 2:
2nd visit...ordered salisbury steak and smothered pork chops. Collards, yams, fried corn, and Mac and cheese. All tasted good except this time pork chops and collards were a bit salty. On a side note, the young ladies behind the counter should have properly fitted masks...and I don't need you to pull the mask down for you to talk to me. ?

I went here on a Friday night and placed my order to go. I had recently heard about this B.O.B. being in the neighborhood and knew I wanted to patronize. It wasn't too crowded and the wait was reasonable as the meat is cooked to order.
The establishment itself was clean and tidy. The employee behind the counter was friendly and efficient as she had to plate the food and check-out the customers. There was no new set of gloves put on after moving between making the plates & checking us out, which was a little alarming simply given the climate we're in right now.
I ordered smothered pork chops and they were delicious! Seasoned to perfection, crispy, and just enough gravy. My two sides were collard greens & cabbage with a side of mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was good. The cabbage was also good, just more on the crunchy side if you like that. The collard greens were too bitter for me, so if you like them on the more sweet side these are not for you. Unfortunately, there were no more cornbread muffins so I was given a roll. A drink did come with my order and I wanted sweet tea, but unfortunately again there was none left. I settled for a soft drink.
I doubt I go back, but would encourage others to at least try it and support as it is a Black Owned Business in Roswell which is a rarity.

Very good soul food. So happy to find a new place to eat good southern food without having to travel far to south Atlanta. Be prepared to wait a bit for food, but the food is pretty tasty. We had fried chicken, Mac, yams, collards and cornbread. Will definitely return soon
