“Was OKAY. Food arrived barely warm, Dasher took a while to find and arrive so won't entirely blame them for that. I WILL blame them for all the onion crumbs in my plate. Not enough actual onion rings. And what we DON'T DO is sit all the burger toppings (including soggy tomatoes) right next to the bun so they make the bottom bun all soggy. Food tasted pretty good - would have been better if I had been able to reheat. The price of the food is outrageous for the quantity though. Won't be ordering again.”

“This was my first time and I asked the cashier to recommend a drink. He suggested “the corner tea” with milk foam because I wanted black milk tea with cheese foam and a matcha strawberry milk tea as it was his favorite. I got both with tapioca boba. They were fantastic! I can’t wait to go back!”

“This really is an upscale vegan restaurant. The atmosphere reminds me of Candle79 in Manhattan (no longer in business) with an Asian twist. The service was astounding; however, the waiter seemed to be walking on egg shells with the management. When we first sat down the waiter welcomed us to the restaurant, explained the menu but said that we need to keep in mind that we can't send food back and there are mo refunds. I've never been to an upscale place that has ever said this up front like this. Seemed like something that might be said at a lower tier restaurant. The second thing that we found odd was the waiter asked us to be careful of the menus because the management doesn't like when people accidentally put their water glasses on top. Keep in mind this is a paper menu, which seems out of place for the restaurant of this tier. If the management is that worried about the menus I'd suggest investing in better quality menus that are book style or a material that is waterproof (matte laminate?). Other then these two oddities the food was amazing. Next time we visit Atlanta we will be back. This really is a great restaurant and if they fixed these two things outlined above it would be perfect.”

“This place is nice to go to when it’s a late night out or just grabbing quick food for the trip home. I got the slaw dog and fries. I also tried other peoples food such as the chili dog and onion rings. Everything tasted decent. Out of all the food tried the onion rings were excellent & I really enjoyed the peach pie also.”

“Ordered oxtails and they were sooooo good! I saw the reviews on DoorDash and almost everyone said they were expensive but they all said they were good. So I had a choice between them and a couple other people and I chose to pick quality over quantity and I was not disappointed. The portions weren’t the traditional portions for Caribbean meals but it was still worth every penny in my opinion. It’s hard to find someone that cooks good oxtails in the area when you’re not too salty or not too bland or the insult you would like one or two oxtails, I’m exaggerating a little bit. But the point is the portion size was good enough to me and the flavor was absolutely impeccable.”

“Night 1. Waited over 30 mins before waitress came over to take order. Got a menu from another table. Night 2. Husband went down around 10:30 to order wings (website says they are open till 11p.m.) when he got there he stood and waiting 13 mins before anyone talked to him. Then they tod him the kitchen closed a long time ago, at the same time, the guy is dropping a basket of wings in front of another person. Terrible service.”

“I really enjoyed the taro flavored boba tea. I like the fact that it’s not overly sweet. The taro flavor is strong and not overwhelmed by sweetness. Will try mango and other flavors in the future (so many choices to try ;-) The venue is very nicely decorated and feels cozy. The staff are friendly and provide great service. Definitely a keeper.”

“To insure you are properly informed this restaurant & along with all of the eateries at Oak Street Eats are take out only. So order your food online before you head over to the location. I gave a 4⭐️ rating vs 5⭐️ due to: 1) The wait it took for me to get the food, but I believe that was more so the responsibility of the people working the window for OSE. 2) There needs to be a better container solution for the pepper soup. I understand this is challenging, because of the size of the crab legs, but the current container has holes in the top so it spills easily. Outside of that the food was delicious. My son enjoyed the Lamb entree with a side of Jollof Rice and I had the Seafood Pepper Soup.”

“10/15/2022 Update. Went back as 1st time was really good. Unfortunately, this time was very different. Went for dinner. Restaurant was a lot busier than 1st lunch visit. Food came out warmish. Not sure I’ve ever had fajita meat and veggies the menu said being grilled that seemed boiled. Even the fajita cast iron plate was somewhat warm. The sopes plate was also kinda warm and soggy. The server took both plates as they were not good. Thought the plates would be remade - came back 2 minutes later and the original food had to have been microwaved. Service was good. Kitchen needs work. Hope they figure it out. Great experience at Los Abuelos. Service was great. Food was even better. Menu has all the classic Americanized Mexican dishes and a few that are authentic. Nice selection of Margaritas. Definitely worth a visit if you’re wanting Mexican.”
